Summary
Designs and maintains data pipelines and PostgreSQL databases for a manufacturing group, automating workflows with Airflow to support real-time monitoring and reporting.
Build and manage data pipelines to collect and process data from production, quality and other departments.
Maintain and improve databases for real-time monitoring of machines and production processes.
Manage PostgreSQL databases to support reporting and analysis.
Set up automated data workflows using Apache Airflow to ensure data runs on schedule.
Work closely with production, maintenance, engineering, and quality teams to understand data needs.
Ensure all data is accurate, secure, and reliable, and fix problems when data pipelines fail.
Create documentation for database systems and data flow processes.
Support integration of IoT systems, MES, ERP, and other digital manufacturing tools.
