Overview

Our client is seeking a skilled Data Engineer to support and maintain enterprise-scale data platforms hosted on Microsoft Azure. This role offers the opportunity to work with modern cloud technologies, provide critical production support, collaborate with offshore teams, and contribute to the continuous improvement of data solutions within a large-scale insurance environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 to Level 3 support for Azure-based data platforms, ensuring system stability and service availability.
• Monitor application and platform performance, proactively identify issues, and implement effective resolutions.
• Troubleshoot production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate with offshore support teams.
• Develop and implement platform enhancements using Azure data services to improve functionality and performance.
• Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and support knowledge repositories.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Data Engineering, application support, or data platform operations.
• Strong technical expertise in Python, SQL, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, and Azure DevOps.
• Exposure to Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, or other Azure cloud services would be an advantage.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with experience working across offshore and regional teams.
