A 4-month temporary (hybrid, London) data engineering contract covering for a team member on leave. Day to day: building and maintaining batch ETL pipelines, writing and tuning SQL on large datasets, using Python for transformation and orchestration (Airflow-style schedulers, Presto/Spark/Hive), plus data quality checks, code reviews, and Git workflows.
