We're recruiting a Data Engineer to build and maintain reliable data pipelines supporting analytics, reporting and business decision-making.
You'll work with senior engineers, architects and analysts across a modern cloud data platform.
What you'll be doing
- Building ETL/ELT pipelines using Python, SQL and cloud tooling.
- Integrating data from databases, REST APIs and files.
- Developing workloads using Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory and Delta Lake.
- Implementing data validation, logging and error handling.
- Troubleshooting pipeline failures and improving data quality.
- Supporting testing, deployment and technical documentation.
What we're looking for
- 3-6 years' hands-on experience in data engineering, ETL/ELT or a similar role.
- Strong practical SQL and Python skills.
- Experience building and supporting production data pipelines.
- Working knowledge of cloud data services, ideally Azure.
- Familiarity with Git, code reviews and team development workflows.
- An understanding of relational and dimensional data modelling.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Experience with PySpark, Databricks, Delta Lake, Azure Data Factory or Power BI would be beneficial.
