Data Engineer (Microsoft Fabric / Azure)

Data Engineer (Microsoft Fabric / Azure) | 6-Month Contract | Outside IR35 | £400 per Day

We're supporting a client who is looking for a Data Engineer to join them on an initial 6-month contract, operating Outside IR35, paying £400 per day.

This role will suit someone with experience designing and developing modern data solutions within the Microsoft ecosystem, working closely with both technical and business stakeholders to deliver scalable reporting and analytics capabilities.

Key Skills & Experience

• 2-5 years' experience in a Data Engineer or similar role
• Strong experience across the Microsoft data stack, including:
  • Microsoft Fabric
  • Azure Data Factory
  • Azure Synapse Analytics
  • Azure SQL / SQL Server
  • Power BI
• Strong understanding of:
  • Data warehousing
  • Data modelling
  • ETL/ELT processes
  • Data integration
• Advanced SQL skills
• Ability to engage with stakeholders and translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset

Desirable

• Microsoft Certifications:
  • Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate
  • Azure Data Engineer Associate
  • Power BI Data Analyst Associate
• Experience with:
  • Python
  • DAX
  • Power Query M
