Procurement Production Run the Bank or Production support

  • This must include troubleshooting bug fixes, monitoring and corrective maintenance following the Bank’s Incident and Problem Management Process.
  • The production incidents, requests or maintenance must be tested documented and implemented as per the Banks Change and Release Management process.
  • Run the Bank support examples are correcting software errors; modifying reports and ensuring accurate report runs; making modifications to the Application and documentation; writing ad hoc queries; loading and applying changes to the software language and/or database in which the Application is written;
  • Provide support and knowledge sharing to other resources and transfer skills to the Bank where applicable.
  • Participate in the disaster recovery testing, planning and documentation as prescribed by the Bank.
  • Adhere and mitigate Audit compliance

Activities

  • Evaluate user requirements and advise on design and content of software engineering required to deliver required features.
  • Ensure Architectural design Alignment
  • Provide effort estimation and sequence for delivering designed features.
  • Develop and configure designed features
  • Code optimization
  • Perform component integration testing on engineered software.
  • Assist with system integration testing on engineered software.
  • Plan cutover or migration activities required to implement required features
  • Deploy software to production and perform planned cutover activities.
  • Provide technical thought leadership around how new concepts should be architected and designed
  • Provide quality assurance on deployment of new solutions

Activities

  • Participate in the SAFE Agile Ceremonies as per SBG Group Adopted Operating Model e.g. Pre PI-Planning, PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, Stand-ups, Inspect and Adapt workshops, System Demos and Solution Demos (whichever is applicable)
  • Provide regular update to the scrum master/engineering lead/RTE on the progress, risks and blockers where applicable
  • Effective owning and execution of allocated story items

Bank Requirements

  • The Bank requires an application enhancement capability with the correct skillset, namely; Application Oracle database administration and subject matter to support new demands as listed in clause 9 including stand-in resources if a resource is away for an unplanned period of more than 2 weeks.
  • The application enhancement must entail: application research, analysis, design, programming, testing, documenting and implementing changes as per the Bank's change and release process; and loading and applying changes to the software language and/or database in which the application is written; providing corrections for production.

In order to deliver on the above activities, the supplier is expected to provide experienced resources.
