We are a rapidly growing global e-commerce platform specializing in sneakers and apparel. Our engineering team is committed to building cutting-edge technologies that continuously transform how customers discover, shop, and engage with our platform.

We are looking for a Data Engineer with 3+ years of experience building and optimizing data infrastructure. This role will focus on BigQuery warehouse optimization, event tracking quality, and scalable data pipeline design.

✨Key Responsibilities

Data Warehouse Optimization

• Optimize and refactor BigQuery data models for performance and cost efficiency
• Improve table structure, partitioning, clustering, and query performance
• Maintain and enhance ELT pipelines
• Enforce data quality checks and documentation standards

Event Tracking Quality

• Audit and redesign Mixpanel and GA4 tracking architecture
• Validate GTM, SDK, and server-side event implementation (QA Process)
• Standardize event naming and tracking schema
• Identify and close tracking gaps

Data Pipeline & Integration

• Build and maintain scalable data pipelines into BigQuery
• Handle structured and semi-structured data
• Support cross-domain data integration

BAU & Collaboration

• Support BI team on optimization-related data requests
• Troubleshoot discrepancies across warehouse and tracking tools
• Document data lineage and ownership

✨Requirements

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience as Data Engineer or similar role
• Strong hands-on experience with cloud warehouse.
• Experience with event tracking architecture and debugging (QA)

Technical Skills

• SQL/Programming Proficiency
• Workflow Orchestration (e.g Apache/Airflow/Dagster, etc)
• Experience with ETL or ELT pipeline design
• Familiar with event-based tracking models
• Understanding of data modeling and warehouse best practices

Nice to Have

• Experience with the modern data stack (e.g., dbt, Airbyte, Datahub)
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience integrating and managing Mixpanel and GA4 data
