Data Engineer
Description
- Warehouse Architecture & Modeling: Design, build, and extend the core Data Warehouse (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift). Responsible for the physical and logical data design, ensuring the warehouse is optimized for both high-volume data ingestion and rapid analytical querying
- Scalability & Performance: Proactively manage the evolution of data schemas. As features are added to the backend/CRM, the warehouse architecture will be extended to accommodate new data points while maintaining historical integrity and system performance
- Infrastructure Selection: Evaluate and implement the right tools for our modern data stack (e.g., selecting the right compute tiers or storage solutions) to ensure the warehouse can grow 10x without a complete rebuild
- Pipeline Modeling: Design, build, and optimize scalable ETL/ELT pipelines to move data from various sources into the data warehouse
