We're looking for a
Data Engineer
to join a financial services organisation supporting critical data platforms and business applications. This role combines data engineering, production support, and collaboration with business and technology teams.
What you'll do Build and maintain data pipelines, data models, and integration solutions across multiple systems. Translate business and data requirements into reliable, scalable technical solutions. Develop and optimise data processes using
Python and SQL . Perform data profiling, reconciliation, testing, and investigation of data issues. Support production environments, including incident management, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and remediation. Monitor data platforms and pipelines, identifying opportunities to improve performance, automation, and resilience. Maintain technical documentation, data mappings, data flows, and operational procedures. Work with Business Analysts, users, and technology teams to ensure solutions meet business requirements and governance standards.
What we're looking for Degree in
Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field . At least
5 years of hands-on experience in data and application support . Strong working knowledge of
Python and SQL . Good understanding of data quality, integration, and troubleshooting. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable working in an
Agile environment
with the ability to learn and adapt quickly.
This is an initial 12-month contract based in Singapore.
