We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer Contractor/Consultant to join a high-impact data transition project. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in data migration, transformation, and SQL-based data processing who enjoy working in complex, data-driven environments.
Key Responsibilities Support the migration and transformation of data from legacy and new source systems. Develop, maintain, and optimize Microsoft SQL-based data processes. Perform data ingestion, transformation, validation, and reconciliation activities. Ensure data quality, integrity, and accuracy throughout the transition process. Assist in troubleshooting and resolving data-related issues. Work closely with stakeholders to support project deliverables and timelines. Proven experience working as a Data Engineer Consultant/Contractor (not currently in a permanent role). Strong hands-on expertise in Microsoft SQL Server. Demonstrated experience in: Data transformation Data validation SQL process maintenance Experience working with large and complex datasets. Exposure to data migration, data conversion, or transition projects. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of data quality frameworks and best practices.
