Data Engineer (Pathum Thani)
Job Purpose
The data engineer will be responsible for organizing data from various sources (FITS, machine logs, testers, component e-data, etc.) into an unstructured database or big data.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement ETL/ELT pipelines to extract data from various sources (databases, APIs, files)
Build and maintain data warehouses and data lakes (e.g., BigQuery, Redshift, S3, Snowflake)
Ensure data is clean, accurate, and timely by implementing data validation and quality checks
Collaborate with data analysts, scientists, and business teams to understand data needs
Optimize the performance of data systems and SQL queries for analytics use cases
Integrate structured and unstructured data sources into centralized platforms
Automate data workflows using orchestration tools like Apache Airflow or dbt
Maintain documentation for data pipelines, schemas, and procedures
Implement data security, access controls, and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR)
Job Qualification
Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Engineering/Computer Science or related fields.
Experience: at least 2 years of experience.
Required Skill:
Fluent in both written and spoken English.
Programming: Python, JavaScript, SQL, C#, PHP.
Experience with AI frameworks and libraries, such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.
Experience with computer vision.
Knowledge of Unix command-line, shell scripting, tools and utilities.
Knowledge of data warehousing and data modeling concepts.
Experience with data visualization tools, such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik.
Job Competencies:
Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in AI and machine learning.
The job include working in team with users/customers so need a person with high responsibility.
The nature of job may require overtime support sometime.
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
