Hybrid Data Engineer PBI role in Porto with Match Profiler, an IT consultancy staffing a client team. Day to day: building Power BI solutions (data modeling, DAX, visualizations) and Dataiku workflows, preparing datasets for analytics/ML, using Python/SQL. What we are looking for
Hard skills
- 3–6 years of experience in BI, Analytics, or Data-related roles.
- Hands‑on experience with Power BI (data modeling, DAX, and visualization best practices).
- Hands‑on experience with Dataiku for data preparation and analytics workflows.
- Solid understanding of data visualization principles and storytelling with data.
- Experience preparing datasets for analytics and machine learning use cases.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of data science concepts (e.g. statistics, ML fundamentals).
- Familiarity with Python and/or SQL.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
Nice to Have
- Experience building or supporting machine learning models in Dataiku.
- Exposure to Generative AI or LLM-based use cases (e.g. embeddings, prompt engineering).
- Experience with cloud data platforms.
- Understanding of data governance and model lifecycle management.
