PrimeIT is hiring a Data Engineer in Portugal to build ETL processes and data pipelines in Databricks, modernize a legacy data platform into a Medallion Architecture, and support technology conversion including GenAI, collaborating with international clients and teams in Canada and EMEA.

We are looking for a Data Engineer for this project!
Responsibilities
- Develop ETL processes and data pipelines using Databricks.
- Participate in the modernization of a data platform from legacy technologies to Databricks.
- Design and implement data ingestion from source systems into a Medallion Architecture or similar.
- Support technology conversion activities, including the use of GenAI, depending on the component.
- Work with international clients and teams (Canada and EMEA).
Qualifications
- Experience with Databricks at Mid-Level or Senior level.
- Experience in ETL development and data pipeline implementation.
- Experience with data platform modernization.
- Experience in the insurance industry (banking is also acceptable).
