Data Engineer - Products

The candidate will have responsibilities across the following functions:

Data Product Ownership:

• Own the product roadmap for ConvoTrack's data ingestion, processing, and intelligence layers.
• Define how data pipelines feed AI agents ARIA Fast, ARIA Deep, and Social Persona.
• Drive decisions around data quality, freshness, and scale across a 500M+ video corpus.
• Translate complex data architecture into simple, high-impact product features for enterprise clients.

Data Engineering Collaboration:

• Partner closely with data engineers to design scalable ETL pipelines and data models.
• Define data contracts, schemas, and SLAs that power product reliability.
• Identify data gaps and work with engineering to close them fast.
• Bridge the gap between raw data infrastructure and AI-ready product features.

Execution:

• Write clear PRDs with data specs that engineers can act on immediately.
• Talk to enterprise users, CMI heads, brand managers and turn feedback into data product decisions.
• Track and improve product metrics: data latency, accuracy, pipeline health, and user engagement.
• Work remotely with speed and ownership; we move in days, not sprints.

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of experience with at least 1-3 years in data engineering or data analytics.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of SQL, ETL pipelines, and data modelling.
• Transitioning into or already operating in a Product Management role.
• Ability to read, interpret, and write data queries to drive product decisions independently.
• Strong product thinking, breaking complex data problems into clean product solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management in a fully remote environment.
• Exposure to AI/ML pipelines, LLMs, embeddings, or vector databases.
• Experience with tools like dbt, Airflow, Spark, BigQuery, or Snowflake.
• Familiarity with agentic AI frameworks (LangChain, CrewAI, or similar).
• Background in social analytics, CPG/FMCG, or consumer research.
• Engineering or technical degree from a Tier 1 institution.
