Data Engineer (python and AWS) - Barcelona - 6 months - Autónomo
Summary
Builds and maintains AWS data pipelines (Glue, Athena, Lambda) in Python, curates datasets for BI tools, and creates dashboards.
Exalto consulting are currently recruiting for a contract Data Engineer to work in Barcelona, this contract will be initially 6 months on a daily rate basis - Autónomo

Key experience:
- Strong experience building AWS data pipelines (Athena, Glue, Lambda, Step Functions, S3)
- Strong SQL for data modeling and transformations
- Able to curate datasets and expose them to BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Superset)
- Experience building dashboards and reports on top of curated data
- Familiarity with permissions
- Proficiency in Python; TypeScript experience is a plus
- Fluent in using AI tools (co-pilot, cursor)
