As Data Engineer you will build and maintain robust data pipelines supporting quants and data scientists. You will work with large, complex financial datasets and develop data models to improve quality and reliability. The role sits at the intersection of data engineering and quantitative work, with room to grow into more data science tasks. You’ll collaborate with cross‑functional teams to scale data products and infrastructure in a fast‑growing investment research tech environment. This is a hands‑on role with a clear impact on data availability and analytics.

Responsibilities
  • Build, test, and maintain robust data pipelines
  • Work with large, complex financial datasets
  • Develop data models and improve data quality
  • Create tooling and infrastructure for Quant and Data Science teams
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of data products and processes
  • Progressively take on more quantitative responsibilities
Key requirements
  • Commercial experience in a Data Engineering / Analyst role
  • Strong Python and SQL skills
  • Experience building data pipelines and handling large datasets
  • Solid understanding of data modelling and data engineering principles
  • Strong academic background with analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Product mindset and enthusiasm for reliable data solutions
