Data Engineer
Summary
Designs and builds scalable data pipelines and a data warehouse to power analytics and reporting, using SQL, ETL/ELT tools, and dbt.
What To Do Design and develop the Data Warehouse (DWH), laying the foundation for analytics
- Build data pipelines: develop, optimize, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions and propose optimal architectural approaches
- Help colleagues see the bigger picture by developing clear and fast dashboards
- Implement Data Quality practices and ensure trust in data across the company
We Expect Strong SQL skills: able to write complex queries, optimize them, and understand how they execute under the hood
- ETL/ELT experience: knowledge of data pipeline principles and experience with data integration tools
- dbt experience: data modeling and writing transformations in dbt is a big plus
- Engineering mindset: care about code quality, use Git, and understand the importance of Data Quality
- System thinking: ability to organize data so that informative reports and dashboards can be built
