Data Engineer at BairesDev
In this role, you'll build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines that power reliable, well-governed data across the organization. Working with data cataloging tools and strong observability practices, you'll ensure data quality and trust throughout the pipeline. This is your opportunity to build the data infrastructure that business decisions depend on, combining pipeline engineering with data governance discipline.
What You'll Do:
- Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines across cloud data infrastructure.
- Implement data cataloging practices to ensure data assets are discoverable and well-governed.
- Set up observability and monitoring across data pipelines.
- Conduct data QA to ensure accuracy and reliability of data assets.
What we are looking for:
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering.
- Strong experience with ETL/ELT development.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, including Glue and Redshift.
- Experience with data cataloging using Collibra or similar tools.
- Proficiency in Python.
- Experience with observability and monitoring for data pipelines.
- Background in data QA.
- Advanced proficiency in English.
Nice to have:
- Experience with AI tooling or MCP servers.
- Background in data lake architecture using Redshift.
- Experience with CDC tools such as Qlik Replicate or DMS.
- Knowledge of insurance data models.
- Experience with event-driven architecture.
