Data Engineer
Summary
Builds and scales cloud-based data pipelines and analytics for healthcare, using Snowflake, AWS, dbt, and Sigma to support claims, EHR, and real-time patient metrics.
Responsibilities
- Support the deployment of scalable infrastructure and tooling including Snowflake, dbt, AWS, and Sigma
- Drive high-impact analyses across claims, EHR, and real-time patient activity data
- Build and scale robust data pipelines and governance practices to ensure data integrity and compliance
- Partner cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Clinical teams to prioritize data initiatives
- Develop and maintain real-time analytics capabilities to monitor key metrics
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate analytics into production systems
- Align data infrastructure to strategic priorities such as pharma data and Fee-for-service models
- Augment analytics processes with AI use cases
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in data engineering
- Proven track record of building scalable data systems in cloud environments
- Experience implementing modern data stacks including Snowflake, AWS, and dbt
- Deep understanding of healthcare data including claims, EMR, and patient-generated health data
- Experience working with actuarial teams or value-based care leaders
- Strong communication skills for navigating between technical and clinical teams
- Must be based in the Northeastern US
