Data Engineer

AWS Data Engineer | Birmingham (3--4 days on-site) | £520/day Inside IR35 | 12 months

I'm working with a global engineering consultancy that's looking for a hands-on AWS Data Engineer to join a client data project in Birmingham. They want someone who builds things, not someone who only draws the architecture.

What you'll be doing:

• Building and running data pipelines on AWS

• Hands-on engineering across Snowflake and Databricks

• Writing production-quality Python and SQL every day

• Working on a project-based delivery team, on-site with the client

What they're looking for:

• Solid commercial Data Engineering experience on AWS

• Real hands-on depth in Snowflake and/or Databricks

• Strong, practical Python and SQL (expect to code live at interview)

• Happy to be on-site in Birmingham 3--4 days a week
