Data Engineer - London - £100k + Trading Bonus
I am currently working with a major Financial Services company based in London, looking for a Data Engineer to join their Data Platform team. You will be responsible for building and maintaining scalable data pipelines that power analytics, reporting, and decision-making across the entire organisation.
Responsibilities:
- Ingest data from multiple sources into the Delta Lake, including Trading, Finance, Operations, and asset data
- Creation of E2E data pipelines
- Collaborate with the business to understand their requirements and ensure the data team is working effectively for the business
The ideal candidate:
- 3 - 6 years of hands on experience in data engineering
- Strong proficiency in Python and PySpark
- Deep experience with Databricks
- Solid working knowledge of AWS services
- Exposure to working in financial services - ideally trading
