Data Engineer

Build and maintain data pipelines and integrations for engineering systems, ensuring data quality and traceability to support AI-enabled engineering and digital workflows.

As a Data Engineer, you will help build the data foundation that enables modern engineering, connecting engineering data, improving digital workflows, and preparing the organization for AI-enabled engineering.

Responsibilities

  • Develop data pipelines and system integrations across engineering tools
  • Improve data quality, consistency, governance, and traceability
  • Support Digital Thread and MBSE initiatives
  • Prepare engineering data for AI and advanced analytics
  • Design scalable data models and dashboards
  • Identify opportunities to automate engineering processes
  • Collaborate with engineers, IT, and business stakeholders to deliver practical solutions

Profile & Qualifications

  • Experience in Data Engineering, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, Data Science, or Computer Science
  • Strong background in Python, SQL, APIs, and knowledge of cloud platforms, Power BI, graph databases, or engineering lifecycle tools
  • Experience with AI technologies is an advantage but not a requirement
  • Ability to solve complex problems, connect information, and turn data into business value
  • Analytical thinking, structured approach, curiosity about new technologies, and continuous improvement mindset
  • Effective collaboration across technical disciplines and ability to translate engineering challenges into digital solutions
  • Ownership mindset and ability to deliver pragmatic results

Candidates must be able to obtain a security clearance by the Danish Defence Intelligence Service. This entails that candidates, as a minimum, have had residency within NATO/EU for the last 7 years.
