Data Engineer
Summary
Data Engineer role in London, recruited by Sanderson on behalf of a consulting client, focused on building cloud data platforms: Python, SQL/NoSQL, ETL/ELT pipelines, data warehouse/lake architectures, distributed computing, containers and Infrastructure as Code, plus ML knowledge. Candidates must be willing and eligible for UK security clearance.
Sanderson are working with a consulting client who are looking to grow their Data capability. The client is seeking candidates who have experience Data Engineering and cloud platforms.
Key skills and responsibilities:
- Strong proficiency in Python
- Extensive experience with cloud platforms
- Experience with:
- Data warehousing and lake architectures
- ETL/ELT pipeline development
- SQL and NoSQL databases
- Distributed computing frameworks
- Software development best practices
- Containerisation tools
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools
- Strong understanding of data modelling and system architecture
- Knowledge of common machine learning frameworks and models
- A good understanding of approaches to monitoring ML models in production
This role will require you to be willing and eligible to undergo UK security clearance.
