Remote, inside-IR35 contract Data Engineer placed at a leading UK brand, developing ETL pipelines and dashboards with Denodo, Talend/Pentaho (PDI), Git, MySQL and Redshift. Day-to-day involves defect resolution, component testing, release support and mentoring junior engineers. Open to candidates across the UK with existing SC clearance.

Data Engineer (SC Cleared ONLY) required to join a leading UK brand on a long term remote assignment.
Excellent rates (Inside IR35), remote working & long-term engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop Denodo/Talend/PDI/Git/MySQL/Redshift enhancements.
- Investigate and resolve defects identified during testing.
- Develop several Dashboards for separate independent services
- Review development and test artefacts.
- Conduct component testing, create test data and automate test packs.
- Support QA, performance testing, production releases and warranty periods.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers.
- Experience with ETL tools, preferably Talend; Pentaho or Redshift experience is transferable.
- Experience working with Grafana monitoring
- Knowledge of SQL, testing and defect resolution.
- Experience with GitLab pipelines is desirable.
