Data Engineer Singapore

• 1. Lead the design and end-to-end development of offline data warehouses, encompassing layered data modeling, pipeline development, and data governance practices to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and long-term operational stability.
• 2. Develop in-depth domain expertise across business verticals and design domain-aligned data warehouse solutions to fulfill diverse data requirements from internal business units.
• 3. Collaborate effectively with regional and global data engineering teams to manage cross-border data initiatives. Ensure all data processes fully comply with applicable local and international data privacy regulations, including Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA), GDPR, and other relevant frameworks.
• 4. Maintain high standards of data security and governance in all operational and deployment tasks.

Qualifications

• 1. Proven, extensive hands-on experience in data warehouse modeling and development, with solid proficiency in both offline and real-time data processing. Experience building large-scale, high-throughput data systems is highly preferred.
• 2. Expertise in big data ecosystems (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Iceberg, Flink) and proficiency in Java, Scala, and/or Python.
• 3. Strong business acumen with the ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable, stable, and extensible data architectures.
• 4. Exceptional logical reasoning skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple concurrent tasks in a fast-paced environment. Self-motivated with strong accountability and ownership.
• 5. Practical experience and a solid understanding of data privacy compliance, specifically with Singapore's PDPA, as well as international frameworks (such as GDPR or CCPA).
