Builds and maintains data pipelines for a US client, integrating ERP, SharePoint, APIs, and flat files using Snowflake, Databricks, Python, and PySpark.
For our Partner, we are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join an international project delivered for a leading US-based client.

About the Role:
As a Data Engineer, you will work closely with client stakeholders and data owners to understand various source systems and build end-to-end data solutions. You will be responsible for integrating, transforming, validating, and modeling data from multiple sources, ensuring that every metric can be traced back to its origin and trusted by the business.
This is a highly hands-on position where you'll have significant ownership of the data workstream, from source discovery through delivery of validated datasets and reporting solutions.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate directly with client data owners to understand and analyze source systems, including ERP platforms, SharePoint, fund administration systems, APIs, and flat files.
Design, develop, and maintain data ingestion, integration, and transformation pipelines.
Build scalable and reliable data models to support business analysis.
Implement reconciliation, validation, and data quality controls to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
Deliver dashboards and self-service reporting solutions that provide trusted business insights.
Investigate and resolve data discrepancies with client stakeholders.
Support and mentor less experienced engineers by sharing knowledge and reviewing work.
Drive decisions related to data architecture, tooling, and implementation approaches.
Promote reusable integration and validation patterns across projects.
Ensure data security, compliance, and governance best practices throughout the engagement.
Requirements:
Must Have:
Bachelor's degree.
Minimum 4 years of professional experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
Languages: Polish B1/B2, English C1

Strong hands-on experience with:
SQL
Python
PySpark

Experience working with:
Snowflake
Databricks
Proven experience building and maintaining data pipelines.
Experience integrating data from ERP systems, SharePoint, APIs, fund administration platforms, and flat files.
Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and data quality management.
Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to Have:
Experience with BI tools such as Sigma or similar platforms.
Knowledge of data anonymization, security, and compliance best practices.
Experience working with AI-enabled environments and data pipelines supporting AI workflows.
Background in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
What We Offer:
B2B contract with SHIMI
Rate of 150-175 PLN/h nett + VAT
Fully remote work model (the candidate should work from Poland)
