Required Skills
- Intermediate knowledge of development and performance optimization on major RDBMS technologies (e.g., Sybase, DB2; plus exposure/interest in Snowflake/SingleStore is a plus).
- Strong scripting skills, especially Python (automation, tooling, diagnostics, data utilities).
- Basic knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Desired Skills
- Data modeling concepts (logical/physical modeling, normalization, dimensional modeling).
- Version control experience, preferably Git.
- Data replication concepts and technologies (CDC, transactional replication, streaming-based patterns).
- Agile practices (Scrum/Kanban) and CI/CD mindset for data/database delivery.
- Experience working in geographically dispersed teams.
