A leading financial services organisation is seeking an experienced Snowflake Developer to join its Data & Analytics team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This role will focus on building and optimising a modern cloud-based data platform to support reporting, analytics, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines within Snowflake
- Migrate data from legacy systems into a cloud-based environment
- Build scalable data models for reporting and analytics
- Develop and optimise ELT/ETL processes
- Ensure data quality, validation, and reconciliation
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to deliver data solutions
- Support reporting across operational and regulatory functions
- Implement best practices in data governance and security
Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience working with Snowflake
- Strong SQL and data modelling expertise
- Experience with ELT/ETL pipelines and cloud data architectures
- Proven ability to integrate data from multiple systems
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working in Agile environments
Nice to Have
- Background in financial services or regulated environments
- Experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools
- Knowledge of data governance and regulatory reporting
