Summary
A data engineer supporting space-based ISR (intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance) data integration for defense/government clients — managing collection requirements, resolving production data flow issues, and building GIS/web mapping tools. Core work involves orbit and sensor modelling and integrating multiple commercial ISR providers.
Responsibilities
- Managing ACO requirements for APSS commercial data integration
- Supporting ACO requests and investigating/implementing changes to user interface
- Investigating and resolving data flow bottlenecks and technical issues in production environments
- Working with cross-functional teams to define requirements and maintaining documentation for APSS Collection Tool
Requirements
- Understanding of current space capabilities, particularly focused on space based ISR
- At least 5 years experience in multi mission planning using orbit and sensor modelling
- Excellent spoken and written English communication and presentation skills
- Recent experience developing and operating space ISR collection tools with national and multinational clients
- Proficiency in GIS and web map libraries
- Experience of protocols for integrating multiple commercial ISR providers collection capabilities
- Valid National or NATO Secret personal security clearance
- NATO and/or military experience preferred
- Knowledge of NATO or National intelligence processes desired
