Data Engineer | SQL | Python | ETL
Salary: ₱50,000 – ₱60,000 per month
Key responsibilities
Develop and maintain SQL queries and database solutions to extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources
Design and implement ETL pipelines to automate data collection, cleaning, and integration processes
Create and optimise Python scripts for data manipulation, analysis, and reporting
Perform data quality assurance and validation to ensure accuracy and consistency across datasets
Build and maintain data models that support business requirements and analytical needs
Generate reports, dashboards, and visualisations to communicate data findings to stakeholders
Collaborate with business teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Monitor and optimise database performance and data pipeline efficiency
Troubleshoot data-related issues and implement solutions to resolve discrepancies
Document data processes, methodologies, and technical specifications for future reference
What we're looking for
Proven proficiency in SQL with the ability to write complex queries, design schemas, and optimise database performance
Strong programming experience in Python for data analysis, manipulation, and automation
Demonstrated experience designing and implementing ETL processes and data pipelines
Solid understanding of relational and non-relational database structures
Experience with data visualisation tools and business intelligence platforms
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Experience with version control systems and collaborative development practices
Knowledge of data governance, data quality standards, and best practices in database administration
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
Preferred: Experience with cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud), big data technologies, or additional programming languages
