Your work will focus on these responsibilities:
- Databricks platform service and technical management and governance
- Handling business demand and turning business ideas into value adding solutions
- Solution and Service & Design: Develop scalable, secure, and leveraging the Lakehouse model, Delta Lake, and Unity Catalog for governance etc.
- Provide expert advice, best practices, and training to customer teams on Databricks features and data engineering
- Influence and support technical project delivery, manage scope, resolve blockers, and ensure adherence to best practices and quality standards. Act as a trusted advisor
- Stay current with new Databricks features
To be able to succeed in the position, we expect you to have:
- Strong expertise in Databricks, Genie, Apache Spark, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, DLT, Workflows, and SQL Warehouses etc.
- Practical experience in Python, PySpark, and SQL for ETL/data transformation
- Experience with DataOps, CI/CD
- Cloud platform knowledge (AWS, Azure)
- Strong experience and understanding about enterprise level IT service management
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
