Data Engineer - Tech / IT Department

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform daily data operations, data modelling and database related matters
• Implement end to end data pipeline (real-time and batches) from collection, transformation, data mapping, data modelling to visualisation
• Collaborate with IT and marketing teams to identify opportunities to manage data and provide solutions for various projects
• Put data algorithms to production, build APIs and incorporating into the company CRM & Loyalty platform
• Deliver the data lake to enable a flexible and effective platform for CRM, data science and analytics teams
• Prepare performance and analytic reports in line with team instructions

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree holder in Computer Science, Mathematics, Computer Systems, Software Engineering, IT or related discipline
• Demonstrated industry experience in Data warehouse, ETL, BI, Big data
• Expert in data architecture, data modelling and design, data pipeline and data integration
• Strong in SQL, Python/R
• Preferably experience of deploying and running ML algorithms in production; knowledge on ML model and algorithm is highly desirable
• BI knowledge and experience (e.g. Tableau, Qlik, Power BI) is highly desirable
• Good presentation and communication skills; strong analytical, problem-solving and interpersonal skill
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
