Data Engineer (dbt / Snowflake / Python) – Mining Tech | Perth-based

Join a high-performing Systems/Technical Services team building a modern data platform that directly supports mine planning and operational decision-making. You’ll be hands-on in core development, shaping scalable data models and pipelines in a Snowflake + dbt environment.

What you’ll be doing

• Build and extend a core data platform used by technical stakeholders (mine planning/tech services)
• Design scalable, reusable dbt models + macros
• Develop and maintain dbt-core pipelines in Snowflake
• Refactor and optimise an existing codebase for performance and maintainability
• Collaborate via code reviews, technical discussions, and troubleshooting data issues

What you’ll bring

• Strong SQL + dbt (core) + Snowflake + Python
• Solid data modelling experience (Data Vault + Dimensional / Star Schema)
• Working knowledge of Git and collaborative dev workflows
• Fast-paced problem solver who enjoys building reliable, scalable data products
