We are seeking a skilled data engineer to design, build and manager our data & systems infrastructure. You will play a vital role in ensuring our data is organized, accessible, and secured, enabling effective data-driven decision-making across the organization by integrating the data with systems.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement data models: Crete logical and physical data models to support business processes.
- Develop and maintain data warehouse: Build and manage scalable data storage solutions.
- Integrate data from various sources: combine data from different systems, primarily from operating technologies (OT) to create a unified view.
- Ensure data quality and integrity: Implement processes to validate and clean data.
- Collaborate with stakeholders: Work with business users and IT teams to understand their data need and deliver effective solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of working experience in database engineering or database management role.
- Understand data architecture, data modelling and operating technologies.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
- Knowledge of data warehousing principles and best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
