We're looking for a Data Engineer to join our team, building and scaling modern cloud data platforms for some of Aotearoa's top enterprise clients. If you love clean code, smart architectures and turning raw data into high-value insights then you'll fit right in.

What you'll be doing

  • Implementing robust dimensional models using Medallion architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold) to power advanced analytics and BI.

  • Driving DevOps best practices, using Git, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions for seamless deployment, monitoring, and performance tuning.

  • Partnering directly with stakeholders and clients to translate business problems into high-performing technical solutions.

What you'll bring:

  • Hands-on experience (5+ years) building cloud-native data solutions, primarily across Azure services (ADLS2, Data Factory, Synapse).

  • Deep proficiency in SQL, Python, PySpark, and Apache Spark.

  • Comfortable with version control workflows (Git), automated CI/CD pipelines, and writing maintainable, production-ready code.

  • Experience with dbt, real-time/streaming architectures (Kafka, Event Hubs), or data governance tools.

What's in it for you:

  • Work with some of Aotearoa's most forward thinking organisations on high-impact data projects.

  • A collaborative, high energy environment where your skills will be valued and stretched

  • Flexibility, trust and autonomy - no micromanaging, just good humans doing great work.

  • Professional development, tech certs, and plenty of growth opportunities.

  • A solid salary, wellbeing perks, your birthday off, and a team that actually celebrates the wins.
