Your Experience
- 4+ years’ experience in Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering or Data Platform Engineering.
- Strong data modelling expertise, including conceptual, logical, physical and dimensional modelling, with experience designing scalable data models for analytics and reporting.
- Advanced SQL skills, including query optimisation and performance tuning.
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake and AWS cloud services.
- Experience building and maintaining data pipelines, ideally using event-driven architectures or real-time streaming technologies such as Kafka or Kinesis.
- Knowledge of data warehousing, operational databases and modern data architectures.
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, automated testing and Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform.
- Understanding of data quality, governance, security and monitoring practices.
Your Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust conceptual, logical and physical data models to support analytics, reporting and forecasting.
- Develop and maintain high-quality, analytics-ready datasets and data products within Snowflake.
- Build scalable, cloud-native data pipelines and integrations using AWS and streaming technologies.
- Work with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into effective data solutions.
- Implement data quality, monitoring, governance and security standards.
- Automate deployments and improve development processes using CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code.
- Support and continuously improve critical production data platforms, ensuring reliability, performance and scalability.
