We are looking for a Data Engineer to strengthen our Strategy, Data & Intelligence team. If you are passionate about transforming data into valuable insights that enhance our success, we want to hear from you!

What will you do?

As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining data and machine learning pipelines. You will work with the latest technologies to model data that accurately reflects our flight operations, sales, and other analytics needs, enabling various data-driven initiatives.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Gaining knowledge of business data sources and their integration with business domains
  • Developing and implementing data pipelines for BI and analytics
  • Implementing data and machine learning pipelines, models, and APIs in production
  • Maintaining our data and analytics cloud platform
  • Applying best practices within data engineering

Where will you land?

You will join the Strategy, Data & Intelligence (SDI) department, collaborating closely with Data Engineers, Data Scientists, Analysts, and Business Consultants. You will be part of a Scrum team following the Spotify model, working on different departments within Transavia. You will also be a member of the Data Engineering chapter, where your growth and knowledge development will be supported by a Lead Data Engineer.

  • Monthly gross salary between €4,714 and €7,953 based on a 40-hour week
  • 8% vacation allowance and 8.33% year-end bonus

What do you bring?

  • A completed university degree
  • At least 3 years of relevant data engineering experience
  • Proficiency in Python, Airflow, Azure, and PowerBI
  • An appreciation for diversity
  • Energy for change, collaboration, and results
  • Fluent English speaking and writing skills, some Dutch language skills are a plus
