About the role
We are seeking a talented Data Engineer to join Verinon Technology Solutions Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur on a contract basis. This role is central to our data infrastructure strategy, where you will design, develop, and maintain the systems that enable our organisation to harness the power of data. As a Data Engineer, you will play a critical part in building scalable and efficient data pipelines that support business intelligence, analytics, and operational decision-making across the company.
Key responsibilities
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, Data Platform Engineering, or related roles.
- Strong hands-on experience in:
- Strong experience with AWS services including:
- Amazon CloudWatch
- Experience designing and supporting enterprise Data Lake and Data Warehouse solutions.
- Experience working with Apache Iceberg tables and large-scale data processing platforms.
- Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
- Experience planning, executing, and supporting Disaster Recovery (DR) activities, including failover testing, recovery validation, and business continuity processes.
