Data Engineer
Summary
Design, build, and optimize modern data platforms on Microsoft Azure for leading Dutch organizations, focusing on data ingestion, transformation, modeling, and visualization.
We are working with a leading bespoke consultancy who are searching for a Data Engineer. You will work on challenging data and cloud projects for leading organizations in the Netherlands, helping them design, build, and optimize modern data platforms on Microsoft Azure.
What we expect from you
- Minimum HBO (Bachelor’s) degree, preferably in IT or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in a relevant field
- Strong knowledge of Azure services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Lake, and Azure SQL
- Experience with full-stack data solutions: data ingestion, transformation, modelling, and visualization
- Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, and infrastructure-as-code (e.g., ARM/Bicep/Terraform) is a plus
- Consultancy experience and strong stakeholder communication skills is a bonus
- Fluent in Dutch and English
