Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our IT Services division. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for architecting, building, and maintaining robust data infrastructure that empowers our organization to leverage its data assets effectively. You will play a critical part in ensuring data accuracy, accessibility, and efficiency across our cloud environments, directly supporting strategic decision-making and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable data pipelines and integration solutions across major cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Execute complex data transformation processes to convert raw data into usable formats for analysis and reporting.
- Implement and monitor data quality frameworks to ensure the integrity, consistency, and reliability of all data assets.
- Optimize database queries and data models to enhance system performance and reduce latency.
- Engineer end-to-end ETL and ELT workflows to facilitate seamless data movement between diverse sources and destinations.
- Continuously improve data architecture to support growing business needs and emerging analytical requirements.
Qualifications and Skills
- Possess 4 to 7 years of professional experience in data engineering within the IT Services sector.
- Demonstrated expertise in working with cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Proficiency in developing and managing data integration, transformation, and pipeline monitoring tools.
- Strong command of query optimization techniques and advanced data modeling principles.
- Proven track record in building and maintaining ETL/ELT processes and data pipelines.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical data solutions with a focus on scalability and performance.
