Data Engineer

Role Overview

We are hiring a Data Engineer to connect marketing platforms, CRMs, and business tools to a central database or Zoho Analytics. You will use Python, SQL, APIs, and Claude Code to build automated data pipelines, dashboards, and analysis. This is a hands-on building role, not a manual reporting or campaign management role.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Understand each data or automation requirement, map the workflow, define the expected outcome, and deliver the complete solution.
  

• Build ETL pipelines to extract, clean, transform, and load data from marketing platforms, CRMs, and business tools using APIs, webhooks, and connectors.
  

• Use Claude Code to build and maintain AI agents and automated workflows for data processing, reporting, and analysis.
  

• Connect data sources to a central database or warehouse and keep records updated without manual entry.
  

• Build and maintain dashboards in Zoho Analytics, or Looker Studio and Power BI where required.
  

• Automate recurring reports covering ad spend, cost per lead, CPA, ROAS, lead quality, and other business metrics.
  

• Analyse data to identify performance trends, spend, and lead conversion patterns. Use forecasting, segmentation, or anomaly detection where useful.
  

• Monitor pipelines, agents, and dashboards, and independently resolve failed updates, missing data, and differences between source and dashboard figures.
  

• Handle client data and API keys securely, document your work, and explain findings clearly to non-technical clients and teams.
  

Must-Have Requirements

• At least 2 years of hands-on experience building end-to-end data pipelines, integrations, and automated workflows, including analysing the resulting data.
  

• You must have personally built API integrations that bring marketing or CRM data into a database and working dashboard - not just viewed dashboards or prepared manual reports.
  

• Experience integrating platforms such as Google Ads, Meta Ads, GA4, or CRMs through APIs, webhooks, or connectors.
  

• Proven experience using Claude Code, including AI agents or automated data workflows you can demonstrate.
  

• Experience with at least one database or warehouse, such as PostgreSQL, Supabase, BigQuery, or Snowflake.
  

• Experience with Zoho Analytics or another BI tool, such as Looker Studio, Power BI, or Tableau, with the ability to work in Zoho Analytics.
  

• Ability to clarify requirements, take ownership, and deliver with minimal supervision.
  

• Ability to build clear dashboards for non-technical users and troubleshoot data issues independently.
