Data Engineer | WFH

Job Description

We are currently on the lookout for a new Data Engineer to join our team at Cloudstaff, the #1 Workplace Everywhere!

• Manage and optimize Microsoft Azure and Fabric data platforms.
• Build scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Microsoft Fabric and Python.
• Develop lakehouse solutions using Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers.
• Create Spark notebooks for automated data transformation workflows.
• Integrate APIs, ERP systems, and enterprise data sources.
• Enable Power BI reporting through curated datasets and models.
• Drive data governance, platform performance, and AI readiness initiatives.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Experience with Microsoft Azure Data Platform and Microsoft Fabric.
• Strong expertise in ETL/ELT pipeline design and development.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, Spark, and data processing.
• Experience with Lakehouse and Medallion architecture frameworks.
• Strong Power BI data modeling and dataset design skills.
• Experience managing cloud platform security, access, and costs.
• Knowledge of APIs, data ingestion, and enterprise integrations.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code.
• Knowledge of data governance and metadata-driven frameworks.
• Exposure to AI, machine learning, or advanced analytics environments.
