Data Engineer with Microsoft Fabric (f/m/x)

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer with Microsoft Fabric to join our Data & Analytics Competence Center – a specialized unit bringing together top experts in data engineering, data processing, analytics, and cloud technologies.

This role is dedicated to implementation projects based on Microsoft Fabric, where you will play a key part in designing and building modern data platforms, integrating enterprise data sources, and enabling advanced analytics and reporting.

Your tasks

  • Develop, deploy, and maintain data solutions on an enterprise-level platform designed to ensure consistent data availability for reporting, application, and analytical use cases

  • Work primarily with structured data, including financial, manufacturing, procurement, sales & marketing, pricing, and so on

  • Design and implement scalable, robust, and secure data solutions on Azure, leveraging Microsoft Fabric, Data Lake, Databricks, ETL/ELT processes, and other data processing tools

  • Create and maintain efficient data models and schemas to support business needs

  • Optimize data solutions for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency

  • Ensure security best practices and compliance are maintained across the Azure architecture

  • Provide ongoing support for data-related issues and troubleshoot problems promptly

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement data solutions that align with business goals

  • Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a collaborative learning environment

  • Stay up to date with the latest advancements in Azure technologies and best practices

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field

  • At least 5 years of experience in Azure data engineering and data platform

  • Proven expertise in Microsoft Fabric implementation projects

  • Advanced programming skills in Python and SQL

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Fabric, PySpark, Azure DWH, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Database, etc.

  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps

  • Knowledge of networking, security, identity management, and serverless computing in Azure

  • Experience in scripting and automation using PowerShell, ARM templates, or similar tools

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

  • Fluent Polish required

  • Residing in Poland required

Nice-to-have requirements

  • Good experience in extracting data from various ERP systems (e.g., Oracle Fusion) and API-related development

  • Azure certifications
