We’re partnering with an established organization looking to add an experienced Data Engineer to its growing data capability.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys getting into the detail, building dependable data solutions and making sure information can move efficiently across the business. You’ll work across modern data platforms, developing and improving pipelines while helping lift data quality, reliability and performance.
Responsibilities
- Building and enhancing ETL/ELT data pipelines
- Working with data warehouses, data lakes and cloud-based platforms
- Developing scalable solutions that improve the flow and availability of data
- Troubleshooting and improving data quality and platform performance
- Working across data modelling and database management
- Contributing to data security, privacy and governance
- Partnering with technical specialists and business stakeholders to deliver fit-for-purpose solutions
- Commercial experience developing and supporting data pipelines
- Strong ETL/ELT knowledge
- Experience with cloud data platforms and storage solutions
- Good data modelling and database skills
- An understanding of data quality, governance and security
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work across different teams
- Azure Synapse and PySpark experience would be an advantage
