Data Engineer

We’re looking for an experienced Data Engineer to help design, build and maintain scalable data platforms and pipelines that support analytics, AI and business reporting.
Working closely with analysts, AI engineers, platform teams and business stakeholders, you’ll ensure data is accurate, secure, trusted and readily available for decision-making.

What you’ll be doing

• Designing and maintaining scalable ETL/ELT pipelines
• Ingesting and transforming data from multiple enterprise systems
• Developing data models and modern cloud-based data warehouses
• Building solutions using Snowflake, dbt, Python, SQL and Azure
• Automating data processing and orchestration workflows
• Implementing data-quality controls, monitoring and governance standards
• Improving platform performance, scalability and cost efficiency
• Translating business requirements into practical technical solutions
• Supporting self-service analytics, reporting and AI initiatives

What we’re looking for

• At least three years’ commercial data engineering experience
• Advanced SQL and strong Python development skills
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake and dbt
• Experience with Azure cloud services
• Strong knowledge of ETL/ELT development and data warehousing
• Understanding of dimensional modelling and patterns such as Kimball or Medallion
• Experience with Airflow or a similar orchestration tool
• Familiarity with CI/CD, Git and Azure DevOps
• Strong problem-solving, communication and stakeholder-management skills
