Summary
Data Engineering Consultant in Hyderabad building and maintaining data pipelines, integrations, and warehouse models on Snowflake. Day-to-day work centers on strong SQL, dimensional modeling, CI/CD-driven pipeline delivery, and streaming with Kafka; 5-8 years of data engineering experience expected.
Mandatory Skills
- 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering / Database Engineering
- 3+ years of hands-on Snowflake experience preferred. Strong SQL developers with solid data engineering/modelling experience and an interest in learning Snowflake
- Strong expertise in Snowflake features (Streams, Snowpipe, Tasks, Snowpark etc.)
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts (dimensional modeling, star/snowflake schema)
- Strong SQL and relational database knowledge
- Experience with data pipelines and integration (Knowledge in ADO, GitHub, Liquibase is good)
- Experience in Agile/Scrum and CI/CD environments
- Exposure to Kafka or similar streaming tools
Good to Have
- Experience with low-latency data platforms
- Knowledge of Data Governance frameworks
- Exposure to Financial Services / Blockchain domain
