Data Engineers (2–3) – GCP EDW
Summary
Staffing firm Lokki Henkilöstöpalvelut is hiring 2-3 data engineers for a multi-year GCP Enterprise Data Warehouse program at its client, starting late 2026. Day to day: building ingestion pipelines and data processing flows with BigQuery, Datastream and Dataflow, working onsite 50% in Helsinki until end of 2027.
Our client is starting a major multi year Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) program and is looking for 2-3 experienced Data Engineers to join the team. The project begins with a large-scale ingestion phase in late 2026.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience in Data Engineering
- Solid expertise with GCP EDW: BigQuery, Datastream, Dataflow and other core components
- Ability to work onsite in Helsinki
- Eligible for Finnish Government Security Clearance (requires several years of residency in Finland)
Role
- Build and maintain ingestion pipelines and data processing flows
- Work with core GCP data tools in a large enterprise environment
- Collaborate with architects and platform teams in a multi-year program
Workload: 50% or 100%
Location: 50% onsite in Helsinki, 50% remote
Language: English (Finnish residency required for security clearance)
Duration: Until end of 2027
Start: Late 2026 / early 2027
