Data Entry (Registrations Specialist)
- Register customer sales tax accounts using state-specific portals, ensuring timely and accurate submissions
- Link existing sales tax accounts to internal systems for streamlined tax processing
- Communicate with state revenue departments to address account issues and maintain compliance
- Audit account setups to confirm accuracy before filing periods
- Track and resolve discrepancies or pending items affecting account registration or linking
- Meet monthly deadlines for registration and system integration tasks
- Work with internal teams, including customer support and compliance, to resolve registration-related questions
- 1-3 years of customer support or tax compliance experience
- Experience with sales tax processes and online portal navigation
- Proficiency with data entry and task-tracking tools
- Ability to manage deadlines and maintain attention to detail
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Strong communication skills in both spoken and written English
- Startup experience
- Knowledge of state sales tax compliance
