JOB SUMMARY
The Data Entry Specialist keeps our electronic records in step with what happens on the production floor. You will read and interpret batch records, then record the matching inventory conversions in the state track-and-trace system within one hour of each physical action being completed. You will also maintain KPI data and support other administrative recordkeeping. RESPONSIBILITIES

- Verify that batch records are complete and internally consistent, checking signatures, dates, lot numbers, UIDs, weights, and yields
- Identify missing entries, calculation errors, or discrepancies, and route them to the responsible team lead or manager for correction before entry
- Understand each production step well enough to know which inventory transactions it requires
State Track-and-Trace Entry
- Record inventory conversions in BioTrack Trace (CT's electronic seed-to-sale tracking system) so the electronic record matches the physical action
- Complete each conversion within 1 hour of the physical action being finished
- Confirm that input and output UIDs, product names, quantities, and units of measure exactly match the batch record
- Document entry times and maintain a clear audit trail for each transaction
- Escalate immediately any action that cannot be entered within the one-hour window, or any record that does not reconcile
KPI & Administrative Data Entry
- Enter production, yield, and operational KPI data into company tracking workbooks accurately and on schedule
- Support monthly KPI rollovers and data checks
- Perform other administrative data entry, including logs, forms, inventory records, and reports
- File, scan, and maintain completed batch records and supporting documents so they are organized and audit-ready
- Support DCP inspections, records requests, and internal audits by retrieving documentation quickly
