Data/ETL Engineer

Job Description: - 6+years - Pune (hybrid)



Responsibilities:

• Design, Develop, and Debug microservices using Java, Golang, Spring boot,
MySQL, NoSQL on AWS.

• Participate and produce high-level and low-level designs which include
component diagrams, sequence diagrams, technology choices, API specs,
Database schemas.

• Do periodic code reviews with scrum teams and make sure that the right
product is being built.

• Do regular security reviews and design reviews of the peer.

• Debug production incidents around Microservices, authentication,
authorization, database, elastic search, UI(React) etc.

Leadership:

• Must be transparent and have a growth mindset.

• Good communication skills.

• Must be open-minded, collaborative and drive by influence.

• Must demonstrate ownership of the projects they work on.

Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience in building scalable cloud-native applications.

• Proficient in different AWS tech stacks.

• Practitioner of cloud security, privacy, and compliance

• Bachelor or master’s in computer science or related fields.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English

• Must be able to contribute to design and code reviews and help other team
members in troubleshooting/problem-solving.

• Knowledgeable of application performance and resource consumption
optimization.

• Ability to simplify complex and abstract issues.

Must have Skills:

• Java, Springboot, JPA, REST, Microservice pattern & related
technologies

• Webservices and web-frameworks

• Database – No SQL(Mongo), MySQL

• AWS core constructs – Lambda, SNS/SQS, S3, KMS, EC2, Secret Manager,
Cloudwatch, API GW, VPC, Loadbalancer

• Splunk or Datadog APM

• Terraform and Infrastructure as Code

• Kubernetes and containerized workloads

• CI/CD and DevOps practices, preferably Azure Devops knowledge

Good to have:

• Golang, React, Oauth, SCIM
